Welcome to Davies Drafting and Design Website.

Davies Drafting and Design commenced business in 1998, and is a small home based business working out of Palmwoods. I specialise in residential drafting for custom designed new homes, renovations and extensions including house lifting and first floor additions.

I offer a design service that takes into account your exact requirements and offer advice on cost effective construction methods, correct orientation, and how to get the best outcome to suit your specific needs and budget.

Normally the process would start with a site visit where I can check and confirm critical dimensions and take photographs of internal and external features, to form the basis of a well thought out design. Care is taken to maximise orientation to sunlight and cross flow ventilation, as well as privacy for the home owner.

Sketch plans and full working drawing documentation is provided, as well as referrals to local builders, structural engineers and building certifiers.

All my jobs are unique which I find very interesting and I enjoy the challenge of achieving a positive result for my clients and their families.
